Makeup/Cosmetics On Plane?

I heard that mascara isn't allowed on carryon. What about eyeshadow, moisturizer...etc. What's allowed on carry-on?Makeup/Cosmetics On Plane?
My sister left out of DFW for a trip recently, and they gave her a plastic baggy to put her lip glosses and what not in, and proceeded to give her the bag. Umm... what kind of security is that? Personally, I've been stuck in a city twice now, and have had my make up kit with me. I'd hate to get stranded w/out it.Makeup/Cosmetics On Plane?
It's allowed, as long as it's 3oz. or less, and has to be in a clear ziplock bag to carry onto the aircraft.
Not much. You can put it in a checked bag.
You can include any of these if they are not liquid (in the case of eyeshadow) or if they are less than 3 ounces, and placed in a ziplock bag in your carryon. (less than 100 ml if your item is metric.)

Otherwise they are not allowed.

I've rarely seen mascara or eyeshadow over 3 ounces, but moisturizer is not.

This is a general prohibition for all liquids and gels. All items in carryon must be 3 ounces/100ml or less, and all of them must e placed in ONE quart size ziplock bag, which should be removed from the carryon when you go into security.

Flights into/out of Great Britain may be more restrictive. Check with your air carrier if that is where you are flying.
You can carry on mascara, eyeshadow, eyeliner, lipstick, etc. as long as they are in a 3-oz. container or smaller. This includes toothpastes, shaving cream, shampoos, etc. You must, however, have all of these items in one, 1-qt. size ziplock bag. You can go to the TSA Permitted and Prohibited items website listed below. Hope this helps!
Any info you need to know about carry on luggage or checked bags can be found at tsa.gov . This is the site the airlines refer passengers too for questions about what they can and cannot take with them on board! Hope this helps you!
