i want to work at the mac counter at macy's, what are the requirments? i know whats on the site and what ive searched but i need answers from people who work there. do you have to be 18?, what do you wear?, how do you wear your hair?, what shoes? anything i need to know, im nervous to even ask for an application because of what the girls look like. any help will be appreciated.Mac cosmetics requirments?

Girl dont be scared to ask usually Mac girlz r hella nice... the hiring process requires A LOT of interview inclusing making a profolio that has picturez of the make up work youve done and i think theyll ask you to bring in a friend as a model and do 3 different lookz... just dress up nice and appealing and go in there with a smile on your face and tell them your interested in working for Mac.... they do require some make up experience though so you will have to have either had some type of school or just be really really good with make up... My dream is to work at MAC but i dont have experience so i am working for Estee Launder to help build up my resume
i'm sure they'd prefer for you to be eighteen. but that may not be necessary.
from what i've seen, the workers wear all black. as for their hair, shoes, and makeup, i'm sure anything goes as long as you look really, really cool =]
also, i don't think that they would hire just anyone to work there. you'd have to have a portfolio to show them.
i went in to mac before and asked them about it a long time ago.. i forgot a lot of what they said =\
you should definitely go in and ask them though ^^
