testing on animals is when a company (pretty much every one) takes a product they make and test it on animals to make sure it wont have any side effects on humans. sometimes the products cause lesions or corrosive spots on the animals making it unsafe for humans so they have to go back and change their product and then retest it.





its a horrible practice which is why you should buy non animal tested things. you have to search harder but its worth it.

these are rabbits that are kept like this so they cant bite or fight when they are tested on cause most causes extreme pain

Sometimes they will put on the label that the finished product is not tested on animals. Which means some or all of the ingredients are. They do horrible things to those animals. I put a company here that doesn't test on animals or buy ingredients that are. It's bath items and they have a makeup company to, but it's in the UK. they use them on animals before humans!!! cos their horrible nasty people, to see test the product until it has no reaction on the animal and then its safe for humans!! they dont do it nicely!!! i always check my products and dont buy products which have been animal tested

To all of those that state that they only purchase ';Not tested on animals'; items.... please bear in mind that this only means the finished product isn't tested on animals... but a vast majority of the time, the individual chemicals are!!!

Instead of testing the products on a human being, they test the products on animals to see if they have any bad reactions or harmful side effects.
They test on animals before people so that way if the makeup is corrosive, it won't hurt some human's face.
Legal way to be cruel to animals.


Should only buy products that are ';NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS';
