Is M.A.C cosmetics the best make up?

Ive used MAC before and when i did i loved it, but since its very expensive i stoped buying it,. Anyone know of a good quality and afordable make up brand? plz help .......if not then is MAC the best there is???? thanx :)Is M.A.C cosmetics the best make up?
MAC is the best, %26amp; I'm pretty sure its cheaper than most of the other good quality brands (Lancome, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder, etc)





The trick is that you have to decide which products you want a higher quality (foundation, eyeliner, or whatever) %26amp; buy those in MAC, then you buy other stuff from cheaper brands. I use MAC eyeliner and shadows (which last forever) and Bare Minerals %26amp; MAC foundation, %26amp; I always buy Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara. For new/trendy colors you want to try, in like glosses and eyeshadows, buy cheap drugstore brands too!Is M.A.C cosmetics the best make up?
Some MAC product are more expensive than some people are willing to pay for makeup, but they'reall very good quality and I love it.
It all depends on what you want to spend. If you think that MAC is expensive, ( which to me- Mac is super cheap) then drug store makeup like L'oreal, Maybelline, Revlon, Max Factor, NYC , Almay, and Cover Girl would be a cheaper solution. L'oreal has the HIP line that suppose to be highly pigmented like MAC , but I have never tried it. I like MAC simply because its highly pigmented, large range of colors and foundations, and their commitment to AIDS and AIDS awareness programs.


I guess I am one of the ones that can't buy drug store makeup because it breaks me out so bad!! It's nothing for me to spend 40 to 50 dollars just on foundation-so to me MAC is a bargain.
MAC is awesome, but really expansive.


There are some other brands who are just as good, but not as well-known, like NYX, or Urban Decay.
MAC is not the BEST!!!!


there has to be somethign better theres always somethign better then the other you just have to look for it yourself b/c everyone has there own views on things and what works for me may not owrk for you!

I think itz a great makeup!! If you save your containers and bring them back to M.A.C they will give you a free lip stick.
Each person has their definition of ';best';. Personally, no I don't think it is the best.
No such thing as affordable good makeup.





Stick to MAC or NARS...it's worth the price.
MAC is the best ever. i know its expensive, but it lasts a good while..... but of course there is affortable brands that work great too.





i like revlon,maybelline they work great too


you can make anything look great a long as you apply it correctly

Its the best to me.
I have never used MAC but i use Mark it is a good make up and cheap. The only bad thing is you have to order it off of the internet. The powder that i use is only 8 dollars! It is not very well known at all but i really like it a lot. It is the best make up that i have used so far.
MAC is definetly the best there is.
I love MAC. but Avon is very good too. It's afforadable cause they don't sell it in retail stores. It's called Direct market so you get it straight from the company. So it's cheaper. Plus they have really nice quality things.
the best i've used are Neutrogena and Clinique. of u dont want to splurge, all the neutrogena stuff ive tried so far, i luv! gud luk!
In this poor economy, makeup is the only affordable luxury there is for now. I say if M.A.C. is good for your skin and you feel confident wearing it then save up and spurge. BTW, M.A.C. makeup brushes are still too expensive for my budget.
