cosmetics as in....make-up as well as cleansing...?Hey i was wondering what type of cosmetics people would sugget out there for oily skin for teens..?
well if u r on a buget neutrogena has the best stuff for oily skin and teens. i believe they have the best washes too. i had oily skin and i had used one of their washes which is both a cleanser and a mask, it works really well by like drying up my skin ( but ofcourse through the day my skin gains back its oils but it rarely ever shows)Hey i was wondering what type of cosmetics people would sugget out there for oily skin for teens..?
Cover Girl makes (or at least did) make-up specifically for oily skin. It would help absorb the oil and keep you less shiny. Choose a mild cleanser...anything with too much salicylic acid could just make you break out more. Use an astringent afer washing and a moisturizer made for oily skin. During the day, you can blot your face with blotting paper (sold in the cosmetic dept.) to get rid of the shine.
I would recommend Mary Kay Classic Skin care for oily skin--my daughter and I both are using it and it is really keeping the oil down and also the pimples!
i use acnefree- which is like proactiv but its $20 and neutrogena skin clearing foundation which may not work for darker complexions

Actually I would start with an improvement with the skincare regimen. That's the start of everything. Since your skin is so oily I would not recommend applying too much makeup as this will make your face even shinier and the makeup will just slide right off. Just use a tinted moisturizer and a light dusting of loose powder.

Lush cosmetics what to get?
Please give me advise on what to get!Lush cosmetics what to get?
It depends on what you're looking for.
I've tried MANY things from Lush lol. The bath bombs and bath melts are amazing, so are the massage bars, and so are some of the hand/body soap bars. I've also tried some shampoos, buttercreams, shower jellies...
Are you going into an actual store? It's best if you do, so you can see and smell everything before having to buy it.Lush cosmetics what to get?

Can u recommend types o food or Cosmetics that can make my skin healthy and smooth ? ?
Someone before me mentioned Tea Tree oil--this works great for cleansing. Jojoba oil also is good for your skin.
Also anything which contains high levels of Vitamin E (you can actually buy this in pure oil form) will help your skin be healthy...as will vitamin A
If you don't want to do heavy investing in lotions and oils, you can always use the traditional egg-white whip and leave it on your face until it drys. I like to then use the egg yolk on my hair (the protein is supposed to absorb well and help nourish damaged hair)
Benzonite Clay is also useful--it has a drawing effect and will help cleanse your pores. You just put it on like a face mask.
If you are especially worried about having nice skin--spend a little extra cash on natural makeup. The chemicals in most commercial makeups are incredibly hard on your skin.
Also, if you want to use wrinkle reducers, make sure you know what you are buying. Alot of wrinkle reducing formulas that contain chemicals which ';plump'; your skin and make the wrinkles disappear temporarily but are very hard on your skin in the long run, and wear and tear will actually be more evident if you don't use it every day.
Good luck! Can u recommend types o food or Cosmetics that can make my skin healthy and smooth ? ?
Personally I find a lot of lotions with Aloe Vera make my skin smooth, or actually, any natural products that contain goat's milk. Also, if you can find a face wash that contains '; tea tree oil ';, it'll make sure your face is clear of blemishes.
For cosmetics, check the labels to make sure it's not oil based, and be sure to wash your face with a deep cleanser to remove your makeup.
If all else fails, vasoline. Rub that on your body, rub it in good, and it makes your skin -amazing-Can u recommend types o food or Cosmetics that can make my skin healthy and smooth ? ?
If you want amazingly smooth skin all over your body eat a lot
of fruit that is loaded with Vitamin C. If you don't like fruit or
you don't feel like eating something then try Burt's Bees Soap
Bark and Chamomile Deep Cleansing Serum. I use it and it
prevents blemishes and keeps my face looking awesome. Try
using it every time before you put on makeup and every time
after you take makeup off.
They say that tofu can help because of protein. Other soy product can help too.
try oatmeal soap, it works really well. you can buy it at a local health food store. its unwrapped but cutt it pieces. costs about 2 dollars. also longs i believe has it. smells really good too when its hot!
Water. If you would drink water for two weeks straight. NO SODA. You will see a drastic change in your skin. Water is life and it will clear up your face. Plus your hair will be healthier!!
Blueberries!!!
they have so many anti-oxanids in them they really really help
them and lemons both! like tea with lemon in it...or just blue berries! are really good for u

I bought the lip balm once, but wasn't very pleased. I liked the subtle pink shimmer it had, but as for its actual ';magic';, well, let's say I wasn't very impressed. It kind of felt like a bit of stinging peppermint on my lips...

Zhen Cosmetics - Which face moisturiser?
Hey
I am looking for a good face moisturizer with at least SPF 25 in it. I don't like the oily/greasy feeling that most moisturisers give you.
Do you guys have any suggestions on what brands?
Also, Zhen cosmetics has 2 different face creams, if any of you have tried or can reccomend any one of the two that would be great :
1. Tea Tree Face Creme
2. Whipped Face Creme
Many thanksZhen Cosmetics - Which face moisturiser?

Mac cosmetics requirments?
i want to work at the mac counter at macy's, what are the requirments? i know whats on the site and what ive searched but i need answers from people who work there. do you have to be 18?, what do you wear?, how do you wear your hair?, what shoes? anything i need to know, im nervous to even ask for an application because of what the girls look like. any help will be appreciated.Mac cosmetics requirments?
yeah, this is a girl question, i have no idea.Mac cosmetics requirments?
Girl dont be scared to ask usually Mac girlz r hella nice... the hiring process requires A LOT of interview inclusing making a profolio that has picturez of the make up work youve done and i think theyll ask you to bring in a friend as a model and do 3 different lookz... just dress up nice and appealing and go in there with a smile on your face and tell them your interested in working for Mac.... they do require some make up experience though so you will have to have either had some type of school or just be really really good with make up... My dream is to work at MAC but i dont have experience so i am working for Estee Launder to help build up my resume
i'm sure they'd prefer for you to be eighteen. but that may not be necessary.
from what i've seen, the workers wear all black. as for their hair, shoes, and makeup, i'm sure anything goes as long as you look really, really cool =]
also, i don't think that they would hire just anyone to work there. you'd have to have a portfolio to show them.
i went in to mac before and asked them about it a long time ago.. i forgot a lot of what they said =\
you should definitely go in and ask them though ^^

Interesting Cosmetics Question?
So, I don't know why, but I like to use the same kind of cosmetics my grandmother used to use (i.e. Noxzema cream, Maybelline mascara, and all the other classics). But I am curious what a classic eyeliner is?
I don't know what my grandmother used so I was wondering if anybody knew an eyeliner that has been around a long time and won't be discontinued anytime soon?
Thanks!Interesting Cosmetics Question?

Does 190 GBP for two cosmetic fillings sound like a decent price?

GBP 190,00 is fine, if all accompanying procedures like anaesthesia, use of strip crowns are included. Over here this procedure would cost the equivalent of about GBP 140,00. That's for two composite restorations, not just white fillings.
No rather expensive i would shop around before signing the treatment i think my dentist charges about 拢50 for 2 teeth.
white filling are on average 拢80-拢120 depending on size. You could get it cheaper.
Sounds very expensive to me.
yes its a good price belive me as long as they are a good dentice

Should I go to a general dentist first or cosmetic dentist?
I have an appointment for a general dentist in a week or so I'm wondering if some things are needed that a normal dentist can't do will they refer you to another type of dentist? Say if I needed dental implant(s)Should I go to a general dentist first or cosmetic dentist?
You are perfectly fine to see a general dentist. There are no differences between someone who claims to be a cosmetic dentist from a general dentist. The only difference is skill/artistic ability, additional training (which may or may not make one dentist cosmetically better than another) and the dentist desire to do cosmetic dentistry.
Don't be fooled by someone who has a bunch of letters that act as credentials behind their title. They can be completely meaningless. ';D.D.S. or D.M.D'; are the only real ones that count. Go with your gut about how you feel during your visit, the perceived level of confidence your dentist has and one other VERY important thing: See if anyone you know recommends the person or if that dentist has patients of his who would be willing to talk to you about their experience and see pictures of that dentist's cosmetic work.
Be sure to verify that they are pictures of his/her work and not pictures of random people.
Today, most dentists are capable of doing most/all cosmetic and non-cosmetic procedures. However, there are also limitations and knowing those limitations is a good sign. If you go to a dentist who never refers you to any other dentist for anything...that would make me a little nervous. It is very difficult to find a dentist who is GREAT at ALL things...it's just not human nature. Most are GREAT at many things and just okay at other procedures. The importance comes in the honesty of the dentist to do what is best for the patient and not for his/her finances.
Hope that helps!Should I go to a general dentist first or cosmetic dentist?
Usually they do refer you to some one. Also you usually need a referral for insurance to cover it. Check that first before you make the appointment for the specialist. Good luck!

post 'em on ebay if they are truly legit.
or set up a full scale mini-company to market them, depending on how much stock you have. If it's not much, you could conceivably sell the whole stock off of one newspaper or radio ad.

What do you think of MAC cosmetics??? i love em they are very Transgender friendly.?
I love MAC and they blend well but for a good base you may also want to consider Dermablend. It's a heavier product but when blended with a little moisturizer it is seriously off the hook (if you use the right shade). it will cover just about any imperfections for a smooth and creamy finish. check them out at dermablend.com. enjoy! What do you think of MAC cosmetics??? i love em they are very Transgender friendly.?
you are very welcome! don't forget to use with a moisturizer for a smoother, better blended finish. Neutrogena lotion is awesome. Report Abuse

omg i am the MAC princess of england i love the stuff i have tons off it (thanks to my mums money) i love it when peeps say they wear it...it just makes me sooooooo happy!! they do such amazing colours i love their greens!! the best colour is medow- land is a nice metalic light green im not sure if ur in the uk or the us if ur in the uk go to carnaby street they do alot more then the shops do.
everyone i know moans about there lipstick but i love it!
anyways have fun using MAC its the best there is!!
oh yeah use there lip conditioners in them little pots they are soooooo amazing
MAC is great.....awesome lipsticks. They have such ';hot trendy'; colors at attract both the young and transgender.
As with makeup in general (for both women and men) skin care is most important. For men, make sure you shave very close....and use a heavier foundation...but blend...blend blend...no line at the jaw. After that, any blush, eyeshadow...whatever..will do.
As a professional makeup artist, I say DO NOT use MAC. The used to be used by pro makeup artists, but when the company was sold, the quality and suitability for makeup artistry went waaaay downhill. I do not use one single MAC product in my work doing makeup for film and theater.
What most consumers don't realize is that professional makeup artists do not use any one brand in there kit, but a combination of many different brands to get the absolute best quality products. Additionally, it is not the brand of cosmetics that gives use a flawless look, but the way that you apply your cosmetics. If you apply correctly, you can get a ';Flawless'; look with drugstore brands just as easily.
I think MAC cosmetics are good. I love their eye color and their studio fix powder. Unlike other makeup brands, their eye color can last all day without needing to be retouched.
MAC is great. I'm not too crazy about their lip products but everything else is really worth the money. I think that MAC is very transgender/gay friendly.
Go into www.mdcrafters.com site, take your Mac cosmetics and look at what is really in them. Then look at your shampoos, soaps, everything.
You will find a list of the worst products to put in skin care, scroll to the bottom and read the information button. Your skin is your first line of defense. It breathes, absorbs and is alive. Look at the crap the companies are using in the name of beauty.

I personally love Bare Escentuals, but I understand how you would want additional coverage. You might want to try the BE eye cosmetics - beautiful colors and glimmers. You rock, girl!
I like them. I do not like all of the products, but I like the color selection a lot.
I would be careful. I heard that those products are full of lead.
I think they're great. They're just about all I use.

How can u tell if someone has undergone rhinoplastic or other cosmetic surgeries?
without seeing before and after photos.
i think my new girlfriend had cosmetic surgey before but she does not want to open up...maybe because she is afraid i will leave her.
which specialist do i have to take her to?
to have her check just to make sure.
thanks. How can u tell if someone has undergone rhinoplastic or other cosmetic surgeries?
Usually the only way to tell would be through a before and after picture that would show a change in her appearance. Good plastic surgery leaves no visible scars. Is she having complications but won't admit to having had something done? If that's the case and her health is at risk, then she needs to get checked out by a plastic surgeon (not the one who did her surgery of course).

Is she having complications but won't admit to having had something done? If that's the case and her health is at risk, then she needs to get checked out by a plastic surgeon (not the one who did her surgery of course).
Should i spend $400 on mac cosmetics or get hair extensions???
I would choose MAC cosmetics if i have the money yeah! cuz hair grows fast, even if u dun do anything about it, they will grow and eventually be the length u wan. But cosmetics are the prestigious things about woman. It's got to be more worth it than hair extensions!Should i spend $400 on mac cosmetics or get hair extensions???

Should i spend $400 on mac cosmetics or get hair extensions???
ok......u dont need $400...buy make up from avon...mark.....ummm the only thing i say is go to mac %26amp; get the compact...that just $24, %26amp; all the eyeshadows i have r from avon...they go on sell for like 4.99 %26amp; it has 4 diff shades... i dont know bout u but i dont cake on my make up soo dont goo all crazy with it, %26amp; as for the hair... stay with what u got girly ur going to look hot with the make up anyways.....
400 Dollars on Extensions!! Are you crazy! Go to a Beauty College and get them done. Its so much cheaper. I just got mine put in Saturday. 7 Bucks a track, can't beat it. They do just as good a job because they are being supervised. I love spending money on make ,but don't spend too much because looks change very quickly you don't want to be left with $400 worth of last seasons makeup.
I think hair extentions, cuase if you look like your advatar your soo pretty, and yopu dont look like you need $400 worth of make-up maybe a cute lipgloss or something to go with your new long hair would be nice, but if i had to chose definitly the hair over the make-up cuase to much makeup is ugly.
both....get a make over and your hair done
i think you should spend thanksgiving at a homeless shelter or some such in what ever city that you live in and get a grip on reality. you have way to much money to waste...i am sure you have beautiful, clean hair and avon, revlon or any other cosmetic company makes good stuff without the hype..
i would get hair extensions... you can always but cheaper makeup and look just as good, but you never want to get a cheap weave
id get extensions, only b/c u can get the same look with any make up

I think you should save your money and spend some on makeup. I honestly don't think you shoud waste 400 bux on makeup....or hair extensions
I would spend it on the makeup. Make up, especially nice make up, would last longer than the extensions. Also, when getting hair extensions you should only get the best because if you go to a cheap place they can absolutly ruin your hair. Trust me, unless you have a hair stylist whos a god, you wont find someone who does great extensions for $400. Make up is so much better in my opionion. mmk hope this helped. =)
on MAC Cosmetics!!! it's so worth it!
In general, if your hair (which frames your face) looks great, you could have almost no makeup on (and assuming you take great care of your skin) you will look great!
You don't neccesarily need to spend $400....why not try checking out the beauty product review site for all women of color www.palacinka.com, with thousands of beauty product reviews from over 300 of the world's top brands! Has anyone ever heard of penile fractures as forms of male cosmetic surgery?
Ok don't think I'm weird but I work at an adult book store and I was watching two different movies by the same male star. In one film he has a regular looking member but in the more recent film he has a curvature to it. I have heard of men breaking the penis but because the adult film industry is so looks oriented I was wondering if people actually do that as forms of cosmetic surgery.Has anyone ever heard of penile fractures as forms of male cosmetic surgery?
the situation you just described, the film views may have been different and you saw the regular and the other a curvature. camera tricks, dildo extensions.
if you've seen as many as I have, I've seen where one time they have the 18'; extension then in sometimes the same compliation an average 7'; to 8'; one.
the penis wasn't broken or fractured. there are times guys with a straight penis gets that little bend/curvature.

Are ladies beautiful with or without cosmetics ...?
Yes without cosmetics , and also yes, with cosmetics.
Some cosmetics make us look like idiots, but everybodys idea of beauty is influenced by the cover of the magazines they have read.
What i have learned is that each of us have our own personal view of what satisfies us when looking at our reflection in the mirror.
You and I may look at a lady and think ';Gaaah, she looks horrible with that horrendous make up on'; yet this lady may act like a queen because she feels like a queen with that make up on.Are ladies beautiful with or without cosmetics ...?
Definately without, I read in a science magazine that the average adult female body will absorb about 5lb's of chemicals from cosmetic's in just one year. Now that can't be good for the ladies. Are ladies beautiful with or without cosmetics ...?
I think women, myself included, are pretty with or without makeup. We just look different depending on how much we put on.
Here鈥檚 a link to Celebrities without makeup. Pamela Anderson looks better with it! However, Marilyn Monroe is just as beautiful without makeup. You be the judge.
Some chicks are hotter with make up, some don't know how to make it look good and so they look worse with make up.
Meh. I think we're definitely prettier with makeup on, but I don't wear it because I view it as a deception. It would be unfair to give someone a false impression of what I look like.
Ladies are beautiful full stop!:) It's what's on the inside that counts anyway.
well... if you see a chick with make-up and she looks beautiful, and then you see the same girl without make-up, and she looks like ugly, would you still say she's beautiful? If you can't be pretty with or without make-up (i'm talking just skin deep beauty here) then you're not pretty....
Some are, some aren't.
Depends on the person.
If you're ugly inside, no amount of make-up can hide it.
all women are beautiful...at least for me they are.
Depends. If they are ugly without, then they'd be better off with it. And if they are beatiful without it, then its good to keep it natural
I have never wear make up in my life, because I don't need to hide bejind a masck of make up Im natural I don't know If Im pretty or ugly, but make up will just give an illusion of something that is not there a diferent look I respect who wears make up,but I don't like it I like the feeling of naturallity. All people I know say I should never wear make up,because I don't needed i have a very nice skin.
I know of a girl who is extremely beautiful without makeup... but just looks typical and ordinary with makeup.
And I also know some girls who look absolutly stunning with cosmetics... but look like chiwawas without cosmos.
For me I prefer natural beauty anyday!
Yes.
Ladies are the most beautful either with no makeup or very, very light makeup.
The heavy makeup is just plain nauseating...
Both! God bless****
It depends. I personally prefer natural beauty. It's just more real that way.
Also, I know this is lame as well as cliche, but I'd rather look at someone's personality, and how one acts. ;)

What type of major/minor should you pursue for implant and cosmetic dentistry specifically?
Any dentist can perform implant and cosmetic dentistry. You don't have to be a specialist. Continuing education courses and training provide you with the knowledge and expertiseWhat type of major/minor should you pursue for implant and cosmetic dentistry specifically?
Yeah anyone can perform it but that does not mean that it will turn out great. I have worked as a dental assistant for 13 years and can tell you, that you should find someone that has done heaps of them. I mean Implant surgery is surgery in the mouth that involves drilling away some bone and exact measuring to make an implant that will be successful. I have worked with a dentist that did implants and had dome some 800 of them now he was pretty good, if you go to an Oral surgeon he might only have done 20 - so i think just go with someone that has a portfolio so to speak. Have an extensive consultation and ask for pictures, photos and cases that he has completed and can show you. As with anything Implanst are not 100% guaranteed, but they are great. In regard to cosmetic dentistry again true that any dentist can do it, but someone that has specifically done cosmetic dentistry will be better than someone that does a bit of this and a bit of that.

Can you use a cosmetic sponge or a foundation brush to apply liquid foundation instead of your fingers?
i only use sponges when i use a cream foundation but most people apply liquid foundation with a brush. if your comfortable with your fingers, go for it. just make sure their clean so you don't get gunk on your faceCan you use a cosmetic sponge or a foundation brush to apply liquid foundation instead of your fingers?

of course! using your fingers makes you press more foundation onto the skin in clumps, using a brush or sponge, this distributes it evenly amoung your skin. ccuz when ur using your fingers u naturally press down harder therefore- not even and blotchy
yes, brush is how professionals do it
your supposed to.

Where can i get ELF cosmetics!!?
?Where can i get ELF cosmetics!!?
You can get them at some targets. If you can't find them there you can always get the from the website: http://eyeslipsface.comWhere can i get ELF cosmetics!!?
If you don't want to go through the hassle of ordering online, you can simply get them at your local Kmart, Big Lots, or Food 4 Less since they have a really good selection there, but I would double check through the store locator on their website first (1st link below).
The other option (which I find cheaper) would be at the eyeslipsface.com website itself. Click on the 2nd link I have provided below and it'll provide tons of discounts like a 50% off, BOGO half off, complementary gift, reduced shipping, etc. I hope I helped!
problem with elf is MADE IN CHINA.
tried their blush, very powdery prone to becoming airborne, and the pigmentation.
there's a reason why it is so cheap. don't expect quality. ughhh
you look as good as the makeup's quality. in my opinion very substandard.

How often do pharmaceutical/cosmetic companies change product ingredients and do they notify customers?
I am involved with a skin care company. As a consultant we are always notified when product ingredients change. Then we share them with our clients. My company only changes a product when an ingredient can improve upon its results. Sometimes it takes years and somestimes not. Depending on the product and the ingredient. Luckly the company I am involved with is always looking to improve their products and is always on the cutting edge of anti aging and skin care.
Hope this helped. How often do pharmaceutical/cosmetic companies change product ingredients and do they notify customers?
I think this is a very interesting question and i Will check if anyone does have some answerer's. I think personally that they do change a little and come up with a different version of what was original.

i live in vancouver canada...and i was wondering if they had any of these? because i'm in needd of the discounted/limited edition pigment and eyeshadows!!!Cosmetics company outlet question? please help?
Sorry, you don't have one. The nearest one to you would be over the border in Seattle. Alternatively, try the Cosmetics Clearance Center at 364 St Vincent St, Barrie, Ontario, it's probably the closest thing that's similar to a CCO that would be near to you.Cosmetics company outlet question? please help?
Try eBay. They have lots of discontinued cosmetics. I love Guerlain Orange Taffeta lipstick and Chanel Glossimer in PinUp, but both are discontinued. I suggest buying it only if it is sealed and in its original box.
Good luck!

Okay. So apperently there is a cosmetics company counter in Saks 5th Avenue Outlet in Arundel Mills...Does anybody what brands they sell?? Or anything about this?Cosmetics Company, at Saks 5th?
They sell many brands.
But you can also find these same brands in other stores.
Even shoppers drug mart, etc, sells them.
Saks is a high-end department store, but they sometimes sell random cheap stuff.

I'm going to mac cosmetics for the first time...?
i don't know what to get. i don't want to spend too much, but i want to buy something.I'm going to mac cosmetics for the first time...?
just get some basics, I'd say get a concealer, an eyeshadow, and a paint pot. I personally dont think their lipgloss is that great. So i'll give you a list with colors and everything.
select cover-up concealer..............15.50 (they will match you there)
Woodwinked eyeshadow..................14.50 (this is my favorite eyeshadow, especially if you have blue eyes but it will look great if you have any color eyes)
239 brush..........................24.50 (only if you need a brush to apply the eyeshadow, but you do not need it!!!!)
soft ochre/painterly paint pot..............16.50 (you want one that matches your skin tone so you can wear it everyday as a base so your eyeshadow don't crease, also you will want to ask them what one is more your skintone because one is more yellow and one is more pink)
Love Nectar lustre glass.................14.50 (only if you want a lip glass but i think they are kind of sticky)
now your total is..............46.50!
(I didnt inculde the brush and the lip glass, bacause they are not nessassry)
go check out the colors I picked at http://www.maccosmetics.com/I'm going to mac cosmetics for the first time...?
Get something that you'll get good use out of?
My first mac purchase was an eyeshadow (:
but the colour craft collection comes out on Thursday in stores. I would suggest getting one of those. You'll basically be getting 4 shadows! The ones that I've seen in person and I really like are: Girlish Romp and odd bits. I don't remember 100% the price but I know it's less than 24$
You can also get a lipglass. I would suggest you trying it on the store first. some people don't like the texture/stickyness of a mac lipglass, personally I do.
My favourite natural colours are:
C-thru or Oyster Girl
they're both very natural and have colour :D
get an eyeshadow or something ? i like their eyeshadows .
i also like their blushes .
i cant really tell you which one to get, because i dont know your skin tone, hair colour, eye colour so on .
so just go there and see what you like, the people who work there are VERY helpful .
they have some really nice foundations and they will test them on you to see which shade is perfect for you :)

Do you (or would you) use a cosmetics bag as a pencil case? Like using a makeup pouch (something like this for example: http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp… ) as a pencil case?

Yeah, why not? It's not like there are set rules. I bought a new one this week which would be great for one. As long as it isn't explicitly a makeup bag, you're fine!
that would look great as a pencil case. all i got is a backpack. i just stuff em inside wherever they fit.
If I was a girl, I would if it would stay up well.
That's expensive to me though, if all you're doing is holding pencils...
My sister just uses those Claires mesh bags.

Does anyone use Heath & Henry cosmetics?
The reason I ask is because I just bought a lip glimmer chapstick and when I used it I felt a tingly sensation on my lips that usually doesn't happen with chapsticks...and then later on my bottom lip starts to feel weird. It feels weird right now. It's not numb, but it doesn't feel normal.Does anyone use Heath %26amp; Henry cosmetics?
Are you sure it wasn't lip plumber? Like that makes your lips a little bigger? Because I tried that once and the same thing happened. It tinkled and felt weird and them my lips felt different. They looked a little bigger then normal. Then I looked at the box and it said lip plumber. That could be possible.Does anyone use Heath %26amp; Henry cosmetics?
A lot of lip balms/chapsticks have menthol in them, which makes your lips tingle. Soft Lips, for example. It's normal, and fades with time. (Although some people love it and will keep trying to find it in new products.) Report Abuse
no i do not..i just use revlondifferent myspace

Cosmetics for men?
I recently heard that there are companies now making cosmetics (not skin creams ect, actual cosmetics) for guys. Have you heard of this? Are us guys getting pretty now? What do you think of this trend?Cosmetics for men?
Cosmetics for men!!!!!
The man who use such cosmetics isn't a man and i think that women dont like such man(who use these cosmetics) because i think he is a gayCosmetics for men?
Dave Navarro wears makeup and the ladies think he's hot as does Bowie and I'd do him in a second. I think anything that is created and slightly smudges the gender line, as well as breaks rules of what is acceptable is a good thing. It'll be a good way of seeing whom the brave are. I don't think there is anything wrong with looking good. I know a few men who could use a some foundation to even out their tone but nothing drastic like eye shadow and junk. I also don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to have a man groomed. It doesn't have to be something that you wear and people think you're gay i think there is more a problem with that than the cosmetics themselves. Personally I don't care WTF is on your face, that's only second to everything else i like about you.
When I were a lad (God I sound like my dad), my dad used to think it was strange that men wore deodorant, which really amused me because I thought that he was so behind the times. Now I feel the same way about male cosmetics, what is the point? Lets get back to normality, leave the make-up and the moisturisers to the girls and keep men as men.
This blows. It is bad enough on women (see: plastic) but for men to do it as well.
theyve been around for some time, jean paul gautier even makes eye liners, lip stick etc all for men but if youve got nothing better to spend youre money on
as a woman, i have used make up for some time. now i know as well as anyone there is a fine line between a lovely glow and looking trashy.
My boyfriend likes when i am putting my make up on.. not because i am ugly without (i dont think anyways lol) but because he knows i want to feel good and look nice for him. Now he has started to borrow a couple of the products i use, which i am fine about because he doesnt go over the top wearing eye shadow and that sort of thing. but he is really conscious of his occasional spots, and blemishes, and a little concealer makes him look and feel so much better.
i do not think that any body should judge people, male or female, for wanting to better there appearance. and although i love a tall dark handsome man in eye liner (the 80's ruled!!) i would t force it on anyone, or condemn them for doing it.
I am a little worried that one day though, men are going to start to lose there masculinity, and think that they can get by in the world on just their looks. because lets face it... there are only so many people that will be Calvin Klein models! he he!
it's a gimmick by the cosmetic companies to expand their market ... please please don't use them. What women want from men is to be clean - not coloured with artificial colourings. It's one thing to shave and use a light moisturiser, but it's another thing to use tinted foundation since it then sends a big signal that you are vain. And vanity is a big no-no to most women - they want to be the pretty one.
Please see this for what it is - cosmetic companies trying to get more customers. You guys really don't want to be slopping that stuff on your face and getting the same insecurities as we women have - stay manly, please!!
Clarins for men is a really good range from Shampoo to face scrubs and eye balm - for the wrinkles!!
Available from ebay in trial sizes, or even better go to debenhams and at the clarins counter they will do you a perscription just for you, and give you trial ones to sample at home for free!!!
I have bought Elemis for my partner, really expensive buy nice.
they called themselve's a METROSEXUAL
seems a bit vain to me I just use exfoliant scrub
I dunno if its true but its an interesting one because it hits on lots of social nerves.
While make up may be considered girlie now, in another 30 or 40 years it could be pretty normal. What makes me say that? Well you can speak to your Dad or your Grandad, they didn't really have deodrant, anti-perspirants or all the colognes when they were kids we have now and people that did wear them we considered effeminate.
Men are becomming better groomed and more preening and taking greater pride in their appearance and this also used to be a slightly camp trend, particularly in the British. While Europeans have for some time taken great pride in their dress.
I don't think cosmetics are necessary, for boys and even for girls.
i like pretty boys, though i dont like men who where too much make up or spend ages over how they look, a good bit of eyeliner never hrut anybody though lol
there have always been cosmetics for men.
body shop, nivea, boots.
you have skin, just like us girls, you gotta take care of it!
I think that it is funny
I have seen the foundations for men in boots.
I personally think any man who wears make up either has issues or works in showbusiness.
hey...y not?...man also need a protection for their skin, skincare to maintain their skin keep nourish. I sell a new product for a man..a new product called Giffarine from Bangkok..many artist use it..The price is not expensive..anyone can buy it....It's got facial foam, nite cream, sunblock, lip gloss n press powder...interested?...do contac me...;}
Yuk, I say.

How to travel with lush (cosmetics)?
Hi
I'm going to be buying a few lush products for my girlfriend's birthday next week. She lives a few hours away and instead of driving I'm just going to take a train.
I'll be at her house for a few days before her birthday (before I give her the gift), does anyone know if the lush products will be OK after a few days of being unopened?
thanksHow to travel with lush (cosmetics)?
It depends on what you buy her. If you buy her one of there natural masks it needs to be in the fridge and can't be out of the fridge for more than a couple of hours. Soaps/shampoo bars/and other solid things should be okay in your suitcase just as long as it's not really hot in there. Massage bars and solid lotion bars melt really easily so I don't recommend traveling with those.
If you have anymore questions I'm sure you can ask the lady that is helping you pick out the lush products at the store :]How to travel with lush (cosmetics)?
yup, they'll be fine, as long as you aren't in a hot environment, or they'll melt. you could also try refrigerating them, but your girlfriend might find them.

I'm really interested in cosmetics?
and I would love to do something like that.. My dream is to do peoples makeup for special things like for movies... something like that..
Is this a hard field to get into?I'm really interested in cosmetics?
Yes and no. you have to be more creative and you should be blending different shades with one another to discover new shades. Always keep clothing in mind and merge the shades accordingly. And Hair style puts stars on make-up.
So make yourself all rounder and you will get it. Always try to keep yourself updated with latest trends and try to meet different models etc. so that people could know about you. You can join a Reputed Beauty parlor too.I'm really interested in cosmetics?
i don't think it is, you can open up your own business (depending on where you are) or you can go to hollywood and be a personal makeup artist to the stars! Good Luck...Follow your dreams.
It ones of the most popular feilds, and there are very limited jobs.
No not really you just have to go to a class at a school like college to get help with it.
If you can't get the dream job, consider doing something else in cosmetics. You can start with a business like becoming a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant and work into other avenues from that. If you are interested, you have permission to contact me by email.
no but where are you from cause if youre from depends on how much money you will make. be an estetition and do makeup./
You have to be good at what you do!
You will not get paid much when you start off, to be honest you might not get paid anything so in my opinion you have to be able to financially support yourself (or live with the parents) while pursuing your career because you will start off at the bottom and once you get your name known people will begin to hire you for specific jobs. As far as just going to college I believe there are plenty of art schools (depending on where you live) that have a program for makeup artistry etc...but remember doing make-up for supermodels to make them have camera appeal is quite different than making someone look dead or like a robot.
Good Luck, just keep up your ambition and you'll do wonderfully :)
first go to school to be a facialist. Get a job in a salon doing make up. I have been doing it for 10 years. I am a independent contractor now and have been for 4 years. You have to get established first, do that in a salon. Then go out on your own
It's not really hard to get into. It helps TONS if you live in the Los Angeles or New York areas, and if you know someone in the industry.
Becoming a make-up artist is not hard in itself.
But jobs that woulod have a decent pay are few. It also depends on what kind of make-up you want to do. For example you could become a make-up artist for theatre productions and stage shows (think cirque du soleil for something top notch), or you could become a mak-up artist and just do make-up for models and such.
Putting make-up on movie stars would be a mix of the two above.
The best advice I can give you other than what everyone else said is NETWORK!! get out there, get to know people in the field, having contacts for this kind of job really helps. Being good and experience do too.
Build a portfolio. I am not sure how old you are, but if you go tohigh school, make sure you help out with the make up when/if there are plays and such. Take pictures of the people you have put make up on for future reference.
Help out with local productions... etc.
If you have friends whose facial structure interests you and you would like to put makje up on them, do it and then take pictures of it.
Make yourself a website such as myspace or something and put the pictures on, add other make up artists (or aspiring ones) to your friends lists. Share your work.
Make tutorials for make up. Be it on myspace or youtube. You can do it in a video formal or simply text with different steps (preferably with pictures as well). That is a great way for people who are not interested in becoming make up artists themselves to get to know you.
Basically do everything to get your name out there.different myspace

Is there a cosmetic tattoo concealer that won't smear onto fabric?
Despite being self-conscious about my pale and thick upper arms, and cheesy barbed wire tattoo on my left upper arm, I agreed wear a sleeveless bridesmaid dress in my sister's wedding to please her. *UGH* Does a smudge-proof tattoo concealer even exist? I'm afraid I'll be seen and photographed with make-up smeared all over the side of my dress! Is there a cosmetic tattoo concealer that won't smear onto fabric?
At Sephora they sell
Kat Von D Tatto concealer, never used it but it's suppose to be so good it can conceal tattos.
I use DermaBlend, it's awesome and covers my tattoo on my back. Got it at Ulta

What type of cosmetic foundation makes you face not look dry?
I saw this girl that wore makeup and her face looks so dry and the foundation didn't fit her skin color and i wanted to ask, what type of foundation is good and not make your face look dry? I think all see used was bare minerals i think that's why it looked so dry? Or ether she just didn't know how to put on makeup 0.o But anyways Is cream foundation like bare minerials foundation and liquid foundation? What is better to put on? I just don't want my face to look like the girl who had that dry makeup. What type of cosmetic foundation makes you face not look dry?
Well without seeing the car it's hard to say what happened. A mineral makeup should not dry you out and is going to give you a more sheer natural look. Liquid foundations can be drying if you got a formula for an oily skin that absorbs oils, there are so many liquids foundations for oily, dry, normal skin. Creme tend to be heavy and I suggest should be used with people that need a lot of coverage.
I myself feel like foundation should only be used to even out your skin tone, you should only put in areas around your cheeks and nose. If you have nice skin, dont wear a foundation at all and choose a tinted moisturizer. I love Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, I think one of the best on the market. http://www.lauramercier.com/products/fla鈥?/a>
Before you use any type of foundation you must prep your skin. You need to wash, tone, and moisturizer, and if you like use a foundation primer. What type of cosmetic foundation makes you face not look dry?
She probably doesn't use moisturizer or buy the right foundation to match her skin type and skin tone.
well, all do, just put on lotion first, before you but on your cosmetics.
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!

Thanks for caring and good luck! What are some cosmetic brand names that test on animals?
In the Draize test, caustic substances are placed in the eyes of conscious rabbits to evaluate damage to sensitive eye tissues. This is extremely painful for the rabbits, who often scream when the substances are applied and sometimes break their necks or backs trying to escape the restraints.
I wonder how Gregory H would like it if we did that to him.
Anyway, some cosmetics brands/companies that involve animal testing are:
Cover Girl
Lancome
Maybelline
L'Oreal USA
Max Factor
Neutrogena
Proctor and Gamble
Oil of Olay
Non-animal tested brands are listed here:

What do you find most controversial on Thailand's Cosmetic surgery?
can you name a website that says something bout it?What do you find most controversial on Thailand's Cosmetic surgery?
On the front page of today's Bangkok Post was a story about a woman who was suing a doctor whom she claims disfigured her from a cosmetic procedure he performed on her. The police are investigating whether he was responsible for hiring two gunmen who performed the ultimate ';cosmetic surgery'; on her as she was found gunned down in from of her house yesterday. The prime witness in the case was also found murdered six months ago. I think this case would qualify as somewhat controversial.

Where can I find a MSDS Sheet for a cosmetic/beauty product?
I am doing a school report on Nature Girl hair products and a requirement is the we have to have the MSDS sheet for it. I can not find any MSDS sheets for any of the products from Nature Girl. If anyone knows how to obtain one that would be helpful.Where can I find a MSDS Sheet for a cosmetic/beauty product?
If not on the web, you will have to call the 800 number, usually listed on the container. MSDSs are not required on consumer sold products, so there may not be one. If there is one, it will have little information on it. That is typical of consumer products.

I have taken a new job with Dillards as an ASM, any advice? I will be over cosmetics, lingerie, and accessory
How the heck is Dilllards a bad name for a store? Dillard is the families last name that owns the store.
My advice on the job would be to be as friendly as you can to all the customers. I believe you should be getting some sort of commision on top of your hourly rate as well. Most Dillards positions offer something similar anyway. So try to be as helpful as possible, always through in extra accessories, mathcing panties for the bras they buy and such...extra make up or whatever, every little bit extra you sell will help.
Also try to keep smiliing without being fake...people can tell, so act geunine.I have taken a new job with Dillards as an ASM, any advice? I will be over cosmetics, lingerie, and accessory
Dillard's is as a bad a name for a store as ';dicks sporting goods';

Is there a cosmetic procedure where fat is taken out of one part of the body and placed into the breast tissue
I read something about this before. I don't know if this is something new they are testing. I hate the way implants look and I don't like the idea of having something that isn't supposed to be in my body. It seems like if this worked more people would do it. Has anyone had this done?Is there a cosmetic procedure where fat is taken out of one part of the body and placed into the breast tissue

How much does cosmetic surgery for teeth cost in the UK?
say a full set how much would it cost and how do i find a good cosmetic dentist. How much does cosmetic surgery for teeth cost in the UK?
what type of cosmetic dentistry ? be specific..
if you want implants, new teeth implanted that can last a lifetime depending on how well you look after them. they are about 拢1000 each tooth.
If you want dentures they cost alot less, for a whole set of teeth you will only pay a few hundered. my mum got dentures on the nhs for free as she is living off a pension and they look totally real.
or if you have your teeth still you can get them bleached or whitened, for a whole set of teeth nd a great whitener this will cost around 拢600.
for porcelain veneers (what celebs use)..very thin pieces of porcelain that they put over your teeth are 拢295 per tooth in my dentist. but my friend travelled to newcastle and got hers done for 拢850 per tooth and they look immense.
cost depends on your dentist and where you live but i'm giving you an average..How much does cosmetic surgery for teeth cost in the UK?

Is M.A.C cosmetics the best make up?
Ive used MAC before and when i did i loved it, but since its very expensive i stoped buying it,. Anyone know of a good quality and afordable make up brand? plz help .......if not then is MAC the best there is???? thanx :)Is M.A.C cosmetics the best make up?
MAC is the best, %26amp; I'm pretty sure its cheaper than most of the other good quality brands (Lancome, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder, etc)
The trick is that you have to decide which products you want a higher quality (foundation, eyeliner, or whatever) %26amp; buy those in MAC, then you buy other stuff from cheaper brands. I use MAC eyeliner and shadows (which last forever) and Bare Minerals %26amp; MAC foundation, %26amp; I always buy Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara. For new/trendy colors you want to try, in like glosses and eyeshadows, buy cheap drugstore brands too!Is M.A.C cosmetics the best make up?
Some MAC product are more expensive than some people are willing to pay for makeup, but they'reall very good quality and I love it.
It all depends on what you want to spend. If you think that MAC is expensive, ( which to me- Mac is super cheap) then drug store makeup like L'oreal, Maybelline, Revlon, Max Factor, NYC , Almay, and Cover Girl would be a cheaper solution. L'oreal has the HIP line that suppose to be highly pigmented like MAC , but I have never tried it. I like MAC simply because its highly pigmented, large range of colors and foundations, and their commitment to AIDS and AIDS awareness programs.
I guess I am one of the ones that can't buy drug store makeup because it breaks me out so bad!! It's nothing for me to spend 40 to 50 dollars just on foundation-so to me MAC is a bargain.
MAC is awesome, but really expansive.
There are some other brands who are just as good, but not as well-known, like NYX, or Urban Decay.
MAC is not the BEST!!!!
there has to be somethign better theres always somethign better then the other you just have to look for it yourself b/c everyone has there own views on things and what works for me may not owrk for you!
so keep on searching i heard many things about the products sephora carrys so you should check them out
I think itz a great makeup!! If you save your containers and bring them back to M.A.C they will give you a free lip stick.
Each person has their definition of ';best';. Personally, no I don't think it is the best.
No such thing as affordable good makeup.
Stick to MAC or NARS...it's worth the price.
MAC is the best ever. i know its expensive, but it lasts a good while..... but of course there is affortable brands that work great too.
i like revlon, maybelline they work great too
you can make anything look great a long as you apply it correctly
hope this helped.
Nope!
Urban Decay
Lorac
Bourjois
L'oreal HIP
Smashbox
Benefit Cosmetics
Its the best to me.
I have never used MAC but i use Mark it is a good make up and cheap. The only bad thing is you have to order it off of the internet. The powder that i use is only 8 dollars! It is not very well known at all but i really like it a lot. It is the best make up that i have used so far.
MAC is definetly the best there is.
I love MAC. but Avon is very good too. It's afforadable cause they don't sell it in retail stores. It's called Direct market so you get it straight from the company. So it's cheaper. Plus they have really nice quality things.
the best i've used are Neutrogena and Clinique. of u dont want to splurge, all the neutrogena stuff ive tried so far, i luv! gud luk!
In this poor economy, makeup is the only affordable luxury there is for now. I say if M.A.C. is good for your skin and you feel confident wearing it then save up and spurge. BTW, M.A.C. makeup brushes are still too expensive for my budget.

A list of cheap cosmetics in Australia!?
Can anyone make a list of cheap cosmetics in Australia, such as BYS and Be Yourself and SPLASH??? There has to be more...A list of cheap cosmetics in Australia!?
Cheap is not necessarily good. The product should be cost effective; meaning that it is good for your skin while making your look your absolute best. Check out aularale.com/7002 - their line is concentrated which means a little goes a long way. And in the long run, your skin will thank you.A list of cheap cosmetics in Australia!?
I wouldnt go any cheaper than Australis.

Everyday Minerals vs. Meow Cosmetics?
I would be interested to hear from ladies that have tried both foundations. How do they compare and which last better throughout the day?Everyday Minerals vs. Meow Cosmetics?
go to:
amazon.com
drugstore.com and/or

just go to the site and type it in the search box, they have detailed consumer reviews on all kinds of products. I personally love amazon, because you can't review the product unless you've purchased it. If none of those was helpful just google it. Good Luck!!!

Is this true?About cosmetics testing?
Most companies(for cosmetics) don't test on animals because the ingredients widely used by ALL, have already been tested
therefore companies can claim not to use them, because it isn't necessary to continue testing chemicals that have already been tested.
also it's impossible to stop using soap, cosmetics, foods, prescription drugs, contact solutions, deodorant, food additives, surgical procedures, fluoridated water. Companies that do not directly perform their own tests will most likely use the information gathered by these tests to ensure their products are safe. I'm a vegetarian. Is this true?About cosmetics testing?
Yes, it's true. Once the information has been gathered and analyzed, it's available for everyone. It is impossible to live completely cruelty-free. Live according to your conscience and your values, and don't sweat the small stuff. None of this is your fault. Is this true?About cosmetics testing?
if it was already tested, they will know its safe, so they shouldnt test again.... BUT, if it doesnt say ';not tested on animals,'; DONT GET IT! go online to their website to see if it says anything on there
animal testing never stops :(

Do you like covergirl cosmetics?
i dont have that much of covergirl stuff, but im wondering if i should get some moreDo you like covergirl cosmetics?
I hate CoverGirl. They test on animals and their products suck. They are too cheap and too cruel for my liking. Do you like covergirl cosmetics?
No. Not at all.
They are very inexpensive, but that isn't always a good thing. They don't cost much-- because they're not worth much. It's fine if you want a quick lip gloss or maybe even a basic mascara-- but I wouldn't try eyeshadows, eyeliners, blushes, bronzers, anything like that.
If you want a really good few brands to stick by-- I would say=
Clinique ( very wide range of hypoallergenic, oil free makeup, and tons of semi-expensive makeup, good quality )
Stila ( for bright, fresh, colorful makeup and variety at reasonable price a little higher than clinique )
MAC ( same as stila-- teensy bit higher quality and teensy bit lower price )
Nuetrogena ( for moisturizers, face washes, acne solutions, and some skin-friendly foundations at very reasonable costs and reasonable quality)
Dont get the foundations, but im fond of the eyeshadows, mascaras, and lip glosses.
Covergirl is a classic- and its mainly for begginers. So if you are just starting i would definetly reccomend it. my first makeup was covergirl- it was the stuff i learned with!
In my experience, Covergirl sucked a$$. Eye shadow would stay on less than a freakin` hour. I would suggest MAC, I love their make-up :]
Well if your satisfied with your current Covergirl makeup then yeah sure you should get more.
Tho its always best to try other makeup brands too.
i do, but just remember that it is a little bit of lower quality, but i would just get some more and see what you think
i HATE covergirl!!!! there compact powder gives you a line around your face. sure its inexpensive but for covergirl, that means low quality...its a rip off!!
Covergirl is okay but I would recommend that you use Mayballine. It is really good make up.
I used to like it until I tried Bee Luscious. Now I realize how bad it really is.
Yea AT FIRST i DIDNT BUT i do I really do! I have one of there eyeliners
bronzers
blushes (two) cheekers Minerals bronzer and the mineral Blush
Oh gosh! I HATE HATE HATE HATE it.
It makes me look so fake!

Just so much money!
don't use the mascara! it burns!!!

Use by dates on cosmetics?
I have body lotion, shower cream and body spray and all of them have a use by date on them but they have expired since 22/08/2008.
Can I still use them or do they have use by dates for a reason (what reason?)?
What could it do if I did use them?Use by dates on cosmetics?
they have them to protect you and your skin etc i would only use theses products only for 1 or 2 months after use by and beyond that no more by rights you should really get rid of them now to be safe the chemicals in products might go bad or toxic after a certain timeUse by dates on cosmetics?
I would take notice of expiry dates on anything which I was going to apply to my body or face. I wouldn't think it would matter too much if it is just a few weeks as there is usually some leeway and they are usually on the cautious side with these dates but I wouldn't use anything beyond that.
They put dates on things like cosmetics because they often contain ingredients which deteriorate after a certain time. Some chemicals can actually become harmful if left too long so just err on the side of caution if you are not sure.
The trouble is that you can spend a lot of money on some cosmetics and then not use them all up. That is one reason I have hung onto stuff in the past, long after I should have and probably why lots of people do too.
I would use the body products .
Only eye -make -up ( mascara and eyeshadow ) you should not use for more than 2 month after opening ! Strangely they don't have any dates on them !
you arent supposed to use products 6months after you buy them as bacteria and germs build up!
but i would say you could stil use them, i dont think it would cause any harm!
gud luck

Wat u mean by cosmetics or any lotions testing on animals..wats tat testing on animals..?
testing on animals is when a company (pretty much every one) takes a product they make and test it on animals to make sure it wont have any side effects on humans. sometimes the products cause lesions or corrosive spots on the animals making it unsafe for humans so they have to go back and change their product and then retest it.
its a horrible practice which is why you should buy non animal tested things. you have to search harder but its worth it.
a lot of animals are killed every year from cosmetic testing
heres what some testing does to them: http://www.healthgoods.com/images/animal鈥?/a>
these are rabbits that are kept like this so they cant bite or fight when they are tested on cause most causes extreme pain
http://www.quizilla.com/user_images/L/LO鈥?/a> this one was corrosive obviously
you get the idea. its horrible and cruel. email me if you want advice on shopping animal friendly.Wat u mean by cosmetics or any lotions testing on animals..wats tat testing on animals..?
Sometimes they will put on the label that the finished product is not tested on animals. Which means some or all of the ingredients are. They do horrible things to those animals. I put a company here that doesn't test on animals or buy ingredients that are. It's bath items and they have a makeup company to, but it's in the UK. They make the best smelling stuff!Wat u mean by cosmetics or any lotions testing on animals..wats tat testing on animals..?
they use them on animals before humans!!! cos their horrible nasty people, to see test the product until it has no reaction on the animal and then its safe for humans!! they dont do it nicely!!! i always check my products and dont buy products which have been animal tested
bastards!!1
To all of those that state that they only purchase ';Not tested on animals'; items.... please bear in mind that this only means the finished product isn't tested on animals... but a vast majority of the time, the individual chemicals are!!!
Deceitful F**KERS
Instead of testing the products on a human being, they test the products on animals to see if they have any bad reactions or harmful side effects.
They test on animals before people so that way if the makeup is corrosive, it won't hurt some human's face.
Legal way to be cruel to animals.
Should only buy products that are ';NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS';

Can A Cosmetic Dentist Give Me Veneers To simulate Fangs ?
How much would that cost for all 4 Incissors ?Can A Cosmetic Dentist Give Me Veneers To simulate Fangs ?
If you are looking for something permanent, then you would probably find that:
1. It will change the way your teeth slide across each other, thus restricting your chewing, and this would be intolerable;
2. You will fracture them because of the changed way you bite;
3. No dentist will do it for you.
If you want something temporary for a party or similar, then the dentist would be able to make you a mouthguard-like device that slips over your teeth. Can A Cosmetic Dentist Give Me Veneers To simulate Fangs ?
Yes. Not all dentists offer it, but many do. It will cost you a pretty penny. Ask and compare prices. It will likely not be covered by dental insurance, fyi.
maybe if you find a dentist as crazy as you are?
And why would you want that?
I heard each tooth is like $700-900

this is a great question to ask your dentist as it is way too involved for this board because the answer depends on what your teeth are like right now

Help with cruelty-free cosmetics?
Hi
Ive decided that i want to start using products which are completely free from animal cruelty. Not just the finished product, but the orginal ingredients. Things like make-up, hair care and perfume/Deodorant etc.
Thanks for your help and time!!!Help with cruelty-free cosmetics?
I think the Body Shop would have the cosmetics you are looking for. The Body Shop is all about cruelty free fair trade everything, and on top of that their stuff is really good.
If you are in the UK there is also Lush - I'm not sure if that exists in the US but they might do mail order.
I hope that helps.Help with cruelty-free cosmetics?
yippee! good job. okay so........
burts bees is good for lip gloss and lip balm
say yes to carrots is good fro shampoo and conditioner
the soap company is good for plain old soap
alba is good for lotions
red earth(which you can get at rexal) is a great mascara
jason is good for deodorant (the apricot is nice)

earth science has a good eye make up remover
the body shop has a great vitamin C face wash, that is cruelty free but not really natural and nice for you
good for you!...i would imagine peta might have some info on products that are totally free from animal testing etc? but i think most products these days have gotten wise that testing on animals wont sell products.I know in the uk most manufactures want to promote the fact there products aren't tested on animals and label there items as such.
Just looked on peta and they do have a search function to find manufacturers that are animal testing free here it is :)

Labiaplasty: Purely cosmetic or does it have medical benefit?
Does this procedure have any positive outcomes other than a woman feeling better about her vagina?Labiaplasty: Purely cosmetic or does it have medical benefit?
Yes, it makes women feel even more like commodity items that must be altered and detailed and mutilated beyond recognition to make them suitable for purchase by males.
So positive for patriarchy, anyway.Labiaplasty: Purely cosmetic or does it have medical benefit?
If you've ever seen some of the MILF pr0n with ladies that have their labia minora hanging out a good two inches, you can imagine that just wearing a tight pair of jeans could be pretty uncomfortable. Enlarged labia chafe and cause pain, callousing, and infection.
There are completely legitimate reasons for the labioplasty procedure. Maybe some feminists oughtn't be so quick to condemn other women for their personal choices.
I would say that's about it. Why else would a woman monkey around down there? I say love what you got. If they cant love it too then they aren't right for you.
No positive outcomes, and possible negative outcomes by severing nerves and making the area numb, or sex painful.

Students should not waer cosmetics to school?
ahhhhh bull twang why not..... some adults should not either some look like like the witch from the west, south east ,north where eva. Kids today r sooo much different than when i was going to school.. things have changed .. don't you no by now kids r the boss us adults r not to be heard. lolStudents should not waer cosmetics to school?
I say let 'em layer the stuff until they can barely see.Students should not waer cosmetics to school?
that's crazy. let 'em experiment
In the sense that of course every young girl (and some young boys...) wants to appeal to their peers I would say that it's not a bad thing, so long as it's in moderation. There is no way a 14 year old girl should be going to school looking like a prostitute or professional dancer, but there's nothing wrong with a little makeup. I say let 'em do it, so long as they don't take it too far. Oh, and, no I'm not saying that young boys should wear cosmetics. That's just wrong, I don't care what your sexual orientation may be.

Why is Cosmetic Surgery more expensive in Southern cali than other parts of the United States?
I am having some work done and it is costing me about 3,000 dollars more here in So. Cal than in the Dallas, Texas area!??Why is Cosmetic Surgery more expensive in Southern cali than other parts of the United States?
Cali babe what do you expect? Why is Cosmetic Surgery more expensive in Southern cali than other parts of the United States?
They are more greedy. Think they are God's gift to cosmetic surgery.
Simple... supply and demand. The more demand there is, the higher the price gets. Then when it's too expensive people quit doing it and the price goes down. Then the cycle starts again...
California is celeb central, right? I mean, Hollywood and L.A. and everything.
Cost of living is higher, they do more of them and because they can
you may want to check out having your cosmetic surgery done outside of the US and save 50%-80%..

Why a cosmetic company should do animal testing on their product?
Well Im glad we all agree. animals are good. testing is bad.
now answer the bloody question! they test products on animals (in particular animals bred for this purpose, most often, special white mice) instead of testing them out on poor indigent humans.
Those same people you see lined up outside the Plasma Clinics also volunteer for human test programs. Unfortunately, the cheapest Human test is still far more expensive than a dozen white lab rats. Oh and its not being done in the US any more.....guess where?
Where do most of the human organs come from for transplantation? dead rich people donating them to science? nope...india and bangladesh for the most part.
The fashion and cosmetic industry is not what most people believe it is... Remember when Kathy Lee discovered her clothing line was made in Indonesia? well she's not in the clothing business any more.

a cosmetic company that does not do their tests on animals are more successful than those that do = keep it up body shopWhy a cosmetic company should do animal testing on their product?
Personally, I would rather pay a little more for a product that doesn't test on animals than use a product that still allows those barbaric tests to be linked to their products. Technology as it is,I just don't think it's necessary for animals to be tortured in order for me to have the perfect mascara. I wont have any part of it and I try to buy products that don't test on animals!!
They don't have to use animals to test the safety of their products. There are better ways of testing products nowadays that are more throughout and accurate.

What E.L.F. cosmetics are good?
I'm on a make-up shopping thing right now, and all this make-up for $1 seems too good to be true. I've tried the lip gloss and I was sad to see that it was a bit cheap (What do you expect?) And the mascara wasn't excellent, so I was wondering what E.L.F. cosmetics you have tried and love. Any items to stay away from are also appreciated! Thanks!! xoxoWhat E.L.F. cosmetics are good?
Try the brushes in the Studio Line ( $3)
and the cream eye shadow duos work great as bases, I use these on my clients all the timeWhat E.L.F. cosmetics are good?
I LOVE the bronzer in ';luminance'; , it's really light so I use it as a highlighter and it's soooooo puuurdy . It usually is the only thing I wear on an every day basis coz it looks so good.
I love the French Manicure set, although the quality of the polishes is nothing special, it's just easy to have all three polishes together in ONE set for cheap.
I love the quads; i have ivy and drama and they look AMAZING , they're shimmery though, so if you don't like that then don't buy them, but I think they look fine for club wear :)
OMG i forgot- the all over cover stick works WONDERS, seriously, I've only ever had one other concealer and that was a $30+ from YSL, and can you believe that this cheap little E.L.F thing works way better? Well it does.
Ummm what else, oh yeah, I have that eyelash curler and it works great, I mean all eyelash curlers are pretty much the same, but I bought this one coz its only a dollar . :)
OH, my two absolutely fav lipglosses are Hypershine in Blossom, and Luscious Liquid Lipstick in baby lips.
Stay away from:
-The super glossy lip shine spf 15, they are kind of sticky and don't spread well :/ too bad i got like 7 of them -.-
That's it :)different myspace
